| Hey, people! Hahaha... I am still on leave but am making an exception for today since there is a request that I update my blog! (Going to keep this a short one though...)
Here is a little insight of what people borned on 23rd of Dec are suppose to be like:-
| Your Birthdate: December 23 |
With a birthday on the 23rd of the month (5 energy) you are inclined to work well with people and enjoy them. You are talented and versatile, very good at presenting ideas. You may have a tendency to get itchy feet at times and need change and travel.
You tend to be very progressive, imaginative and adaptable. Your mind is quick, clever and analytical. A restlessness in your nature may make you a bit impatient and easily bored with routine. You may have a tendency to shirk responsibility. Very sociable, you make friends easily and you are an excellent traveling companion. |
So how accurate do you find the above to be? Personally, as much as some of the points do reflect my character/personality, it does not mean that its accurate. Hahaha...confused by my statement? Well, all individuals have similar characteristics. What makes us unique is the level of composition and depth of each characteristic/personality. For example, everyone is kind but the extend of kindness varies from one individual to another. Therefore, what we read from things like the above may sound like they are accurate as we do possess the characteristic/personality. In reality however, they are just applicable to everyone! Don't know if all of you agree with me but that is my personal thought. Anyhow, I give it the benefit of doubt since its a general notion that applies to all who celebrate their birthday on 23rd of December.
Among all that was mentioned, I find
'A restlessness in your nature may make you a bit impatient and easily bored with routine.' AND
'You may have a tendency to get itchy feet at times and need change and travel.'
reflects me perfectly! :P
Alright, back to my 'leave'...
| Food monster is currently on leave... | | |
| Hey ho! Well I am back with another report on my latest food adventure! Hahaha...
I went to Glen Waverley (Yes, again! You have to understand that there aren't many places nearby, where I can go conviniently) for dinner. I had chicken and cashew nut with rice as my main course. It was alright, nothing like what I had in mind, but it tasted quite good anyway. Then I had this craving for pancakes, so my friend and I headed to Pancake Parlour, which as its name suggests, is obviously famous for pancakes, and had 'IT'. 'IT' has been my all time favourite. It is two stacks of pancake with roasted walnut, fried bananas and on top of it all, a scoop of ice cream! They even add a dash of cinnamon. Boy, was I in heaven! It was absolutely delicious!!
Since we were at Glen, yam milk tea with pearls is definitely in the picture! Because I had to have my bubble tea, I almost missed the train. My friend and I were practically running like mad women! Would have to wait for another half an hour if we missed it! Hahaha...and I did NOT fall down!
Today I got back one of my test results. I faired pretty alright. Not excellent but good enough for me to use it as a reason to go out! Hahaha.... Well, I would use any lame excuse in the world just so I can go out. You guys should know me...
At the moment, there is a swell around my neck area (and its getting bigger by the day!). I suspect that I am having mumps but I have yet to confirm that after my visit to the doc. Initially, I planned to pay the local doc a visit only on Friday (if the swell does not subside). Then I told my family about it in my e-mail to them this morning and right after they came to know about it, they called me and 'ordered' me to see the doctor. I thought I could run away but my mum said she will call tomorrow night, which means I have no choice but to see the doctor during the day. Either that or I am doomed to have a 'nagging' session. Hahaha...and of course I do not want them to worry sick. You know how parents can make a big fuss over one small little matter!
About the Cumming Theatre, I presume its just a lecture hall since it is within the compound of Monash University at Caulfield. I have not been in there though. I just happen to walk by and the name caught my eye.
Douglas, you weren't ignorant. In fact, its good that you asked for clarification.
Till my next entry... | | |
| Its a saturday night, which explains why so many people are not online at the moment. Everyone is probably out yum chaing or partying. I just came back from dinner not too long ago. I went to Clayton town and had hokkien mee. Hehehe...had a sudden craving for it. Then I ordered longan suit kap tong shui. Hmm...was pretty good served chilled. After dinner, I went to Coles (supermarket) to get some groceries and headed to McDonald's for chocolate sundae. Well, yms would usually order strawberry sundae but the strawberry topping here isn't that nice. To my disappointment, even the ice cream isn't that smooth today...well, guess I can't ask for too much. Btw, I had a large sundae..hehehe...something that you can't get back home. Its nothing special, just that the cup is bigger and they add an extra layer of chocolate topping at the bottom. Yes, yes...its an equivalent of buying two sundaes back home...nothing great about it.
I have been going out pretty often lately and its burning a hole in my pocket! I spent approximately $100 in the past four days! Hmm...YMS just seem to have some trouble controlling herself! Hahaha...
I have been going to Glen Waverley every night for dinner since Wednesday. As usual, dinner is followed by some dessert. Had been drinking bubble tea and my new craving is yam flavoured milk tea with pearls! It used to be honey dew milk tea but lately I just seem to crave for something less sweet...:P By the way, the bubble tea here is nicer than those I had back home. The pearls are fresher, nicer to chew and the milk tea is smoother...Hahaha...starting to think that I can really be a food critique.
Thats all for today, folks! (Can't think of anything to write at the moment. Don't want to start talking about my slack attitute towards my studies and bore you guys)
| I had a weird dream two nights ago. It is pretty funny and I just thought I should share with you guys.
Well, in the dream, the gang was in the midst of a Chinese New Year visiting and we were at my house. I forgot how it started but basically, Siew Woon turned up with 5 babies! I don't remember anyone asking her if its hers but I dare presume that they were! Hahaha...she was like carrying one in each arm and the rest of us were pratically taking turns to help her baby-sit them.
Ironically (*mischeviously grinning), Yu Jin was behind her, carrying a bag full with baby stuff! Hehehe...no I am not adding salt and pepper! Its really what I saw in the dream! Then Chin Joo, being his usual self, was making fun about how Siew Woon brought all the babies so that she could collect more ang pows...hahaha...lameness!!
Oh and we look pretty much the same in the dream...not like its set a few years in the future. Hahaha....don't even know why I had this dream. I was once told that our dreams are actually what we think of subconciously while we are awake. Hmm...what does the dream imply then?
Next, here are some recent photos of myself, which drew on some weird comments and surprising questions.

Ok...some of the people I spoke to on msn asked me who this is, when I used it as my display picture. It may be due to the size of the pic but hmm...I do not look that different, do I? Oh and others said it looks spooky...hahaha...not bad eh! YMS looking scary...not something unusual though...Btw, Saw Cheng, I don't believe that you actually thought its my sister!

Hahaha...yes. This is a photo to remind all of you that I am still young! Still vibrant, still sam pat unlike the 'aunty' that I am supposedly becoming according to Douglas. Hmm..hope this photo made some of you laugh or at least, chuckle...hahaha...berilah sedikit response! :P Yes, yes, roll your eyes, I am LAME...so shoot me!
Lastly, I saw something the other day and the first thought that came to mind was, I have to take a photo of this to show the guys...

Hmm...since you guys like to make jokes out of the word 'cumming', just thought of entertaining all of you a bit. :) At least I thought of you guys la, ok? Give me some credit ler!
